Coworkers

I had heard that Costa Rica is known for its lush landscapes and intense biodiversity, and they weren’t lying! One of the things on my list of must-see “nature things” were leaf cutter ants, because I’ve always thought they’re just so dang cool. Lucky for me, they were easy to spot and were just as stunning a spectacle as I thought they would be. Every day that I was out there raking, my sweet tiny coworkers were out there too. Both of us just moving leaves from one place to another. Who knew you could feel such a big sense of camaraderie with such small companions!
